Hi I am Jules, 44yr old Mum of 2 girls .Ashleigh is 26 and Renee is 14. I have been an all round crafter for most my life.Almost3 ago I made the leap to make it my career and opened my store CREATIVE DREAMS. I stocked scrapbooking, cardmaking, jewellery making, altered art and mixed media products that can be used in all sorts of crafts. At the shop we had our own ATC swaps and it has encouraged me to branch out a little. We also met for Art Journalling. I teach childrens and adult classes and love my job. Sadly due to a downturn in retail I closed my shop at the end of 2014.When I am not crafting ) I love the outdoors, walking, biking, hiking,gardening, geocaching. Also a fan of socialising and wine :) I am now a Gardener part time and work in a Garden Centre. I would like to think I am a "glass half full" kinda gal, with a postive attitude and a smile :) Looking forward to swapping with new people from around the world.

I really love all music I guess, i aleays have some.type.of music on.switching from current stations to older rock depending on the mood. Love techno and dance on my i pod for exercising

I recentley got a Kindle reader and have been trying many new authors but favs are Harlan Coben, Patricia Cornwall, any suspense thriller mystery. DO NOT like historical romances, justy cant get in to them. Have finished the FIFTY SHADES trilogy and loved it. Reading is an indulgence that I dont have so often.

NCIS, Bones, Sons Of Anarchy, Missing, Unforgettable, Castle, Revenge,Criminal Minds.......also a guilty little indulgence is lying on the couch in the weekend watching a bit of Kardashians........now and again :) Fav movie is What Dreams May Come and Nemo. From way back when I love Footloose and "Nobody puts baby in a corner" Dirty Dancing. Anything with Jason Statham or Channing Tatum,

I will try anything! Love card making, scrapbooking,shadow boxes, altered art, ATC's, decoupage, jewellery, resin art, anything with paper. I would class myself as a very textural artist in that my projects all have a lot of layers and dimension. I like antique, vintage, Paris .Steampunk facinates me. Dictionary pages, lace, buttons, dress forms, little bits and peices. My colours change and at the moment I am working alot with orange, black and white, bright green and yellow..LOVE Tim Holtz and his "grunge" style. I Distress Ink almost everything. My 3 fav products would be Ranger Glossy Accents, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, and Mod Podge. Always looking for something new and funky to try my hand at. I have over 100 designs of serviettes and use them on canvas, paper, bags, shoes, candles, anything they will stick to. I use quotes a lot in my work.i have several started Art Journals and a smash book, as well as approx 12 scrapbooks.. I love mixed media and am experimenting with background techniques. Art Journalling is an obsession right now.I also love doodling, colouring and Zentangling.

A wish/want list would be anything related to country music, quotes, Steampunk, Paris,NASCAR (hubby likes it), wine (I likes it :) chocolate (yep me again) I also love owls, dolphins and butterflies, fantails .Faeries, Wicca,Unicorns and all that is magical. My husband is an engineer and a mad NASCAR fan (88). Loves anything Earnhardt Junior or Senior. He likes hot rods and funny cars, and watches drag , NASCAR and sprints. Recentley he has started to collect number plates from places he visited in the US when he travelled years ago.

My daughter Renee is 14 and has just started swapping. She loves to recieve mail ! She likes - Selena Gomez - Taylor Swift - One Direction - Bindi Irwin - She plays netball and loves to dance, She has a dolls house for Bratz and Monster High dolls. She is an avid reader and reads 2+levels above. Other likes are smashbooking - stickers-Lego -Music - SSOS - Renee is a girly girl and has blonde hair and blue eyes. Renee watches ALOT of DVDs and her most watched movie would be Last Song (Miley Cyrus) and Ramona and Bezus (selena Gomez) Alas this DVD has expired and we would love to find another copy.
