I am a surrealist, fond of found objects, chance encounters, flea markets and thrift stores, beautiful cutlery and china, and all things random. I live in Finland, in a small wooden house from the 1950´s. It´s a "grannycottage", really cute and creaky, just the way I like it, even though I am no granny, I´m in my twenties and I´m a student.

I am new to swap-bot, but have been postcrossing for over a year.

I enjoy getting postcards from all over the world, especially ones that actually say something, not just hello-best wishes-but little stories, details from human lives.

I wanna start swapping because I love getting interesting mail, and I love sending it. I do all kinds of craft projects all the time, artsy stuff, like paintings with spoons attached, knitting (most often wrist warmers:) and random embroidery. I wanna get more done, be inspired, I figure this would be a good place to help me with that.

I´d like to receive imaginative cards, letters written from the heart; up close and personal, and specific, details really matter to me, what you could call the mundane stuff I guess. I believe in quality over quantity, so maybe just tell me about your way to work or describe the cup of coffee you are having, instead of bluntly listing things that are in your life. I like cutesy stuff like stickers, pictures of animals etc. I´m not into pictures of babies and most celebrities don´t interest me at all. I am hoping to swap random artworks, like small collages and knitted or crocheted things. Maybe candles too, and short stories.

I am new to all this and so as soon as I learn more about how this all works, I´m sure to improve my profile and add preferences.
