FLAKING: I will not flake on you. Please let me know if you did not receive an item and I will resend. I try to get my items mailed out as soon as possible after receiving my partner information.
Please rate your partners, it is the right thing to do! I like to rate my partners as soon as I can. Please let me know if I have forgotten to rate you on a swap.
I look forward to swapping with you.
Hi. I really dislike these about me sections as I never know quite what to say. But, here goes; I am married to a wonderful Scotsman. Step-mother of two, and mom to a rotten rescue dog, Lucky. He's part collie and part "we have no idea what." I am dual licensed in massage therapy and practical nursing. Currently I am not working due to a work related injury. We are living here in hot sunny FL and I am missing the beautiful mountains of WV while hubby is missing his beautiful mountains of Scotland. We both hope to retire there or in Ireland one day. I am a survivor of a very rare glandular cancer that was on my eyelid (less than 275 people diagnosed since the 1960's). I had to have 8 surgeries and my left eye now looks smaller than the right.Thankful for every day.

I love sending & receiving postcards. Please send them naked (without an envelope & stamped, not machine stamped). I have received some beautiful ones from all over the world through Postcrossing
Here are some ideas for postcards to send: Historical interest* Monet* Wildlife* Nature* Cemeteries* (favorite theme of mine) Old buildings/ruins* Castles* City (cards from your hometown) Different countries* Oddities/unusual things* Poetry* Old movie stars/movies* Birds/butterflies* Anything Scottish related* Anything from 1939 (reminds me of my dad)* Vintage* Steampunk* Wildflowers* There are few postcards that I wouldn't like but please nothing vulgar, no ad cards.
I haven't met a color I didn't like. (Okay, that's not totally true. I don't like girly pink.) Hunter green is my all time favorite. Some other favorites are: browns, oranges, reds, yellows, (earthy Autumn colors) blues, greens, purples.
Believe it or not I love paisley and plaids (yes, I'm weird like that.)
I am currently on a raw food vegan diet to help with healing after having cancer. Please do not send anything food related as it will not be eaten. I don't drink coffee but love teas and cocoa.
I do not like the following: Violent themed, Anime, manga, kawaii, princesses, hello kitty, most Disney items, abstract art. Obscene content items.
Also, please try to air items out before sending as I am sensitive to perfumes and cigarette smoke.
I look forward to swapping with you. I try to put a lot of effort into my swaps and ask that you please do the same; (no stickers stuck on a plain background and call it an ATC). Incorporating stickers is fine; but I actually received an "ATC' that was plain red card stock with one sticker stuck smack dab in the middle of it and that was it.
I love the creative process and believe everyone is capable of making "art." I do realize that we all have different abilities however, and as long as it looks as if you tried to put effort into it that is what matters to me.
