Hello,

My name is Alberta and I love, love, love snail-mail and getting things in the mail. About two months ago I started Postcrossing and am in love! I am an avid reader & crafter; I enjoy listening to music.

I also enjoy watching/collecting movies (I love Sci-Fi, action/adventure, drama, anything with a happy ending)

My favorite holiday is CHRISTMAS, I adore everything about the season. My second favorite is Halloween and Fall is my favorite season.

I love color - Brick Red, Butter Yellow, Pumpkin Orange, Sage Green & Teal are my "Life Colors" (colors I am consistently drawn to).

Monkeys and Birds are my favorite animals and I love Japanese characters like Rilakkuma, Kero Kero Keropp, Hello Kitty and all things Kawaii.

My favorite characters are Snoopy & Woodstock (I like the rest of the Peanuts crew too)

I have two small collections that I've been working on over time and they are Funko Pops and Albums (as in records/LPs), the most recent album purchase was Sade Diamond Life.

I am allergic to cats and HATE coconut.

I am a HUGE R&B fan.But my music taste is eclectic. I especially love neo-soul artists Jill Scott, Maxwell, Anthony Hamilton and John Legend. I also like old skool, Earth, Wind & Fire, Patti LaBelle, Bill Withers, just to name a few. I also enjoy Jazz. A few of my other favorite artists are Michael Buble, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Norah Jones, Jesse Cook, Rodrigo and Gabriela.

I love all kinds of books, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Fiction. My favorite way to enjoy a good book is via audible but I've recently gotten back into reading physical books too (I also just started annotating and am enjoying it - I find that annotating as you read immerses you deeper in the book).

I don't watch "regular" tv but I do watch Prime, Hulu, Netflix and a myriad of other low-key apps

My favorite crafts are crocheting, decorating my planners, journals/notebooks, creating collages with magazine images, postcrossing, fussy cutting creating ATCs and MemoryDex Cards.
