Hi, I'm Cari. I'm a Biology teacher and an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up.. I have two fur babies (dogs) Iris and Cinnamon. I found out about Swap-Bot through some friends that I scrapbook with.

I had some big changes over the past year with a Hysterectomy followed by Chemotherapy & Radiation to cure Uterine Cancer; a divorce, followed by the purchase of a new house. It's been crazy. I haven't really been very active on Swap-Bot as of late because all of my craft stuff is still in boxes. I'm in the middle of remodeling my craftroom. Hopefully it will be completed soon!

I am a huge fan of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child's books whether they are stand alone, series, co-written or individual. They're cowritten books include Relic, Dance of Death, Gideon's Sword.

I do not like Romance Novels....However my friend has me reading Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooters.

NCIS & NCIS Los Angeles, SVU, Doctor Who, The Game of Thrones, and Sleepy Hallow. I also started watching God Friended me. I like the positive vibe it puts out. So many other TV shows are always dramatizing the negative.

Although I've dabbled around in all types of crafting, I especially enjoy anything to do with paper-crafting: Scrapbooking, Cards, 3D paper projects, and I've just recently started to get my feet wet in the mixed media world.

I became a certified to teach Intermediate Copic classes in February 2017. Here it is November 2017 and haven'the really done what I set out to do with that certification. I think I'm going to use my time in chemo to start setting up a monthly class for a local Stamp Studio, and quite possible an art store.

My favorite color is Purple. I'm really starting to get into designs that involve Steampunk and metal especially wrought iron. I love nature including dragonflies and butterflies. I also like to take pictures.

I do not like Romance Novels. I am not religious in the least bit, but don't take it the wrong way. I am a very spiritual person.

Taped Envelopes!!! Please don't send me envelopes where not only is it sealed with washi tape, but every edge is also washied!!! I admit that they are very pretty, but it's almost impossible to open these envelopes without tearing the contents. I find it extremely annoying!

Sticker Slapping - especially on ATC. A stands for artist. I take that seriously. Stickers are okay as an accent, but it is suppose to be ART!

According to Swap-bot, Hearts were never meant for EXTRAS, so please DO NOT SEND EXTRAS.I do not need any more STUFF. I have also stopped adding extras to my swaps unless they are related to the swap itself.

I give hearts for work that 1) looks like you put a little extra effort into it; 2) it was obvious you read my profile; 3) I find it to my liking.
