Hi! I'm new here but I used to love getting those funky sock swap chain letters in the mail so I think I'll like it here. The last chain letter swap I did was a book one and although I sent books, I never received a single one. I’m a rule follower and get miffed when others don’t. This seems to be structured.

Anyway, I love ❤️ my cats, hobby crafts like quilting although I’m new to it, ancestry, and theatre. My favorite color is purple. I have a service dog who takes good care of me. I like girlie and whimsical things: little unicorns, candy, rainbows, pinwheels, cupcakes, large flower prints, and lace (of course since it’s my name).

OUTLANDER!!!! I was obsessed long before the TV series was a twinkle in the eye of Starz. But no spoilers because I have to wait for the DVDs (no cable).

I don’t read currently due to a traumatic brain injury but I was working on a couple of fantasy/romance novel series (knights, princesses, time travel, magic). Happy endings, please! I want my escape from reality to be warm and fuzzy.

I'm a dabbler, so I'll take a craft class in anything! I learned sumi-e while I lived in Japan (calligraphy brush painting). I like candle making for gifts (since I was maybe 14?). Quilting is my current buzz and I’m working on a charm quilt. I’m looking for 5” squares of 100% cotton in different girlie prints to get to 999 different fabrics!!

I joined swap not to help me work on a charm quilt. The history of the thd charm quilt comes from button swapping; with the aim of 999 unique buttons on a string, a girl would find the 1,000th button on the coat of her true love. Quilters now cover the 999 fabric charm quilt without knowing the background story! So I’m here swapping fabric looking for ones I like and want to add to my stash of 5”x5” charms.

Purple is my favorite color, but I need a rainbow of pastels and jewel tones. They need to be 100% cotton and have a print on them. Prewashed is best.

I like pop-florals, candy, cupcakes, hearts, lace (my name is Lacey after all), Japanese (I lived in Japan), cats, or really anything girlie.
