I enjoy being pushed to read a bit outside my usual genres and I know the same is true for other people as well, so I thought I'd post a series of reading challenge swaps. This is number 3!

Each time I'll list 5 challenges.

Pick ONE. Read (or listen to) the book for that challenge.

Then send a letter to your partner. Tell them what you read including the author and the title, and which challenge it was for.

Make sure to include your swap name and the name of the swap!

In the letter, write at least a paragraph about about the book. What was it about? Did you like it? Did you dislike it? Was it already familiar to you or was it a new departure? Would you recommend it as a good read? Anything you like really -- but do write more than a brief sentence.

If you listened to an audiobook, you might want to comment on the narrator.

CHALLENGES FOR SWAP #3 (remember, you only have to read one book -- not all five!)

(1) A cozy mystery

(2) A book written before 1800.

(3) A book set in an African country

(4) A romance

(5) A book by an author whose last name starts with C

I'll give us a longish amount of time for these swaps. But you can obviously start reading as soon as you sign up -- you don't have to wait for partners to be assigned.
