promo swap

Participants can list about how many promos they would like to receive or send in this comments section.

For example: I run a small online store and make around 10 sales a month. If you are sending to me, you could send 20-40 promos.

I will probably only send out about 25-30 of my business cards to each of my recipients. Does that sound about right?

i am thinking i'd like to send each participant i get a sample something nice i've sewn and then each of them get stuff to give out. that way they also get something nice to keep! but i am only going to do the same as rachel and give out maybe 20-30 things.

I'll be sending probably 20-30 per person... maybe a bit less. I could take about 10-30 from each person as well.

I'll be making some things which may take a while to produce, but even if I don't make my goal I still have a ton of business cards I can give out. Just like Jennifer I wanted to make something to give-away as well as be a keepsake.

I have two businesses that I send stuff with. I can probably take about 10-30 items/business, like the rest of you. I'll be sending 1" buttons probably for one of the businesses and recipe promo cards for the other one.

I have a question. So are most people sending like for example, 20 promo buttons to each person? Then then person that recieves them gives them to others to promote the business? I'd like to join, but I want to make sure I understand the swap first!

yes you want to give your partner's stuff that promotes your business so they can put it in their orders when they send them out!

BUT like i said i was going to make something nice to send to each of my partners so they can keep something for themselves that's say NOT a business card or BUTTON. :D

When will we be getting the list?

after the sign up deadline, you log back into swap-bot and then you can view your partners. you will get an email letting you know when your partners have been assigned and are available for you to see.

We are getting ready to reopen our store so i'd like to get around 20-40 promo's :) I will be sending various things from samples, flyers, &/or buttons. Will probably send around 20-30 items to each of my 10 partners.

I am just getting ready to open up shop within the next week, so I think 10-30 items would work for me, too.

I'm working on a massload of stuff, but I've done so many promos lately, my head is spinning. So unfortunately I'll probably only send cards this time around, but I'm working on other goodies in the future. I can take just about any amount of cards & goodies, as I actually have a couple of online businesses & one of the things I sell is ready made promo bags - already filled with various business cards. You just have to add your own to it, and then include the whole kit & caboodle in your orders, so I always need more cards to add to those.

i have not sent out my promos yet. sorry! i'm way behind but i have someone working on some new design stuff for me and as soon as that's done i'll get to printing. they'll come eventually. ;o) -kelley

i just got my business cards in the mail yesterday so mine are FINALLY going out today.

Anastacia- You SELL bags of promos for other people to include with their orders? I don't understand. Does this mean the stuff you recieve in the promo swap is goin to be SOLD? Are you making money off of your swap partners? This seems somewhat unethical to me. If this is the case, I would rather you throw my promos away than include them in something you are SELLING.

I agree with your sentiments, Nat... I didn't know people were going to be selling these. I thought it was just a nice way to help each other out and promote our businesses.
