Description:
For this swap, I will pick a different book each month for particpants to read. Book picks will be books that are widely accessable at bookstores, thrift shops, and libraries. You do not need to purchase the book for the swap, but can if you wish. You will read the book and write a letter to your partner about it. What did you like? What would you change? Was there a character that you related to? One that annoyed you? Feel free to compare it the movie if there is one based on the book. You can also start reading the book as soon as you sign up for the swap. August's Pick: Impulse by Ellen Hopkins Particpants must have a rating of 4.5 or higher with no recent 1s. Unrated swapers welcome with a well filled out profile.

I just read an excerpt from the book from barnes and noble website to see if it was interesting before signing up and it seems like a really interesting book. I'm definitely signing up for this and going to library to see if they have it.

I just finished reading the book and it was really good. Defintaly worth checking out even if you don't read it for the swap.

I've read over 200 pages so far and love it. Definitely a good book.. Do you plan to maybe do another book swap with another book of her's or you normally pick a different author?

I normally pick different authors, but I might do another one of her books in the future. However it probably will not be for awhile - I pretty much have my books planned out for the next few months.

Is it okay to know the next months book for the swap now or gotta wait? I'm finishing Impulse today and wanted to try to check out the next book while there turning in Impulse. If gotta wait, I understand, just asking is all. Thanks for the great swap too.

My copy should be winging it's way through my mailbox any day now! Sadly my library and bookstore didnt have it, but huzzah for amazon! It looks like a really interesting read so I can't wait to plough through it!

I had sent my letter out to my assigned partner to the address they have on file that was sent to me and it got returned to me today in my mailbox. What would you like me to do in this situation? Is it okay to contact the person or no?

Got ahold of partner, sending for second attempt today. Will go out with Monday/Tuesday's mail since Monday is holiday. Thanks!
