Description:

I first want to give credit to @knitandlitgirl She hosts a monthly book club swap as well, and was kind enough to let me do something similar. In her swap, she chooses more classic type books, the books for this swap will be newer released books.

I am always reluctant to join organized book clubs because I am concerned that maybe I just wont like the book we are reading. So I came up with this idea. This will be a monthly book club swap, each month i will chose 3 different books for the participants to chose from to read for the month.

After finishing the book/end of the month you will write your partner a letter, tell them why you chose the book that you did, and how you felt about it. Did it meet your expectations? Was there a part that you really liked or a part you hated? What characters did you feel you identified with the most or liked the most. Just write your partner a quick 1-2 pages letter about the book and you are done.

The 3 books for July 2011 Are:

  • Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

  • Hidden Wives by Claire Avery

  • Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin

The Fine Print: Any book lovers can join as long as they have no recent 1's or 3's. Newbies welcomes with a well filled out profile.

Have fun. Let me know if there are questions

PS: Please feel free to suggest new books for future rounds. Something that has came out within the last 5 years, I will make sure to give credit if your selections are used for future rounds.
