Let's get to know each other, and hopefully establish some long-term pen-pals! NEWBIES WELCOME! For this swap you will be sending an introductory pen-pal letter to each of your 2 partners. Write about whatever you want! What do you like? What do you do? How was your day? Things like that...or just what you feel like writing about, but let your partner get to know you a little:-) You will also be sending 1 sheet of stickers with each letter. The stickers are senders choice, but make sure if the sheet is smaller than 3x5 inches, you send 2! Make sure to use atleast 2 standard sized sheets of printer/notebook paper. You don't have to fill up the front and back of each, but come on...WRITE! Please don't use small stationary, or small sheets of notebook paper:( Stickers: No...torn, dirty, teacher/reward, flakes, loose, re-placed! Requirements to join: No recent 1's or 3's (within the past 3 months). If you have a recent negative rating, let me know before joining and I'll look into it:-) Otherwise you will be banned! You must have logged onto Swapbot within the last 5 days of when I assign partners for this swap. Have fun, and Happy Swapping!!! This is a SMOKING FRIENDLY swap! Please don't join if you don't want to take the chance of receiveing from a smoking home, because I know I'm sending from one...but I don't know about anyone else. Please be aware:)

@Maggiesmother The letters can be either typed or handwritten, whichever works best for you:-)

Everyone...make sure that if you do handwrite your letters, that they are readable.

Hi there @Icoulter417 The last day to sign-up for this swap is July 30th, so I'll assign partners the next day. When you come back to this page on the 31st (in the afternoon), there should be an option in the yellow box in the upper corner that says "see the partners I send to". Click on that, and you'll have your partners info. After that...you have until August 8th to send your swap.

I am totally new to this and really want to join this swap. This will be my first one. One question and Im sure its dumb, it says newbies welcome so that means I am permitted to join even though I have no ratings, correct? Thanks!!

I don't think there's any set rules/guidelines for what defines a "newbie", but to me it's someone who has been here less than 6 months.
