4th of July dotee

I'm in, 4th of July is my birthday!

This will be fun. I'm ready to start sewing....I've got my fabric cut and embellishments chosen.

My dotee is ready and anxious to see her adoptive home.

I have hello kitty 4th of July fabric so I was waiting to make sure my person doesn't hate hello kitty or else mine would be finished too.

If you're my partner I wouldn't mind any theme dotee. I'm so hooked. I love the little hippy dotee that I received from you. The bumblebee that I sent to you was my first and only bug.

The bumblebee was a cutie. The bumblebee was the first winged dotee that I made. I wasn't sure how to make wings so I took a pipe cleaner and wrapped it in black tulle, then I put some gold beads in a little swirl pattern. I made it with black and gold beads in stripes. She was kinda heavy because they were fat beads. It was a fun swap. I need to figure out how to do wings better because I am thinking of signing up for the 4th of July/troop fairy dotee on the main swap page. I was also thinking I may take a ready made butterfly, cut the wings off and use that for my dotee. I think that would be so much easier.
