I would like to start a swap serie. So I was thinking a swap with eraser stamps would be a wonderful gift to give and to recieve. - and also very fun to make. So lets carve some of those totally unique homemade eraser stamps - yeaaah. Since this is a serie I will start out with a very easy theme: Flowers. Any kind – and any way you see it. Do remember to test out the stamp before sendning. You will make two rubberstamps, one for each partner. Do your best and not just a five minutes work. By the way, I have no idear how is could be send as a flat mail or not (in Denmark - yes) so just in case, I have signed this up in the category "crafts & packages" What a swap suitable for spring, huh? :D If you have tried this before, you dont need any further explanation. If not, you will only need a little info: You will need: Eraser made of rubber Thin knives or blades A pencil Ink Paper You draw a simple drawing on the eraser (flowers). Then cut it out, but leave the marks of your pencil be. That means what ever you cut away will not transfer the ink to the paper. And dont worry - you will have to test the stamp serveral times to see how it looks like when stamping. So yes – the stamp will be used when you send it. That just the way it is. Wupti - you made your very own rubber stamp. Just go for it. You will be suprised to see how easy it is. One or two attempt of carving will let you know all you need to know about carving stamps like this. This serie will allways have: 3 weeks to sign up 3 weeks for â€fabrikation†A theme 2 partners. ...now the usual stuff: Newbies are welcome if the profile is well filled out. Flakers and questionables will be baned. I trust you wont flakes this swap – or else..! Angels are very welcome but hopefully uneeded. If you have any questions just ask. Now – pull out your knifes and start attacking those erasers. (...pst... a bird just whispered that Edward Scissorhands is among us) Have fun. |
