Description:

Let's consider this swap an inexpensive challenge. What can you buy or make for $1?

For this swap, we will buy or make the most amazing item we can...for only $1. Those who are overachievers will have to resist the temptation to include extras or go over the $1 limit. Consider it a challenge.

Here are some rules that give you a little wiggle room, especially for those who are rule benders by nature. You don't have to include taxes as part of your $1. You may wrap or decorate your item/package as you wish, and that will not count as part of your $1. Anything you already have can be recycled or repurposed for this project and will not count as part of your $1 allotment.

Those who do not use the American dollar system may convert $1 to your country's equivalent or use 1 unit in your currency ( 1 EU, 1 GBP, 1 AUD). You are special people, so you get special rules. ;-)

Even though this is a cheap swap, please don't put anyone in an awkward position by sending a late, crappy, or poorly-packaged swap. Dazzle us with your creativity or thriftiness.

I will also start a group thread on this topic. Let's take pictures of what we are sending/receiving to share! If you don't have access to posting photos, no problem. You can still share in the discussion.

Who's up for a challenge?

Does using stash stuff you already have..eg: fabric & ribbon etc count as part of the $1?

Stash stuff is a freebie. :-)
