Description:
I love the penny smashing machines at touristy places such as museums, amusement parks and the zoo. They even have one at our favorite local bookstore now! For this swap, you will have two partners. Please send one smashed penny to each person. It can be from any penny smashing machine--local to you, or one you got while on vacation. (But for this swap, please do not send 'blank' smashed pennies, like the ones you get from placing pennies on the train tracks.) Also, include a short note (any paper is fine) describing the place you got it from and any interesting facts you wish to share about it. Minimum rating of 4.75. Newbies with a well-filled out profile accepted. I will angel if necessary, but this is an easy swap, so it shouldn't be be necessary.

If you google it, there is a website that has a data base of all/most of the smooshed penny machines in the U.S. i seen it before. It also has updates as to weather it is in working order or not.

Wow! Thanks amikins. It looks like there is a whole community of ' elongated coin' collectors. That was an interesting google, for sure. It would be neat to find some international elongated coins...maybe I should not have said 'penny'!

I love those smooshed pennies. Unfortunately I don't have any I can swap right now and the only place around here to get one is the zoo (which is closed for winter.) Please Please Please do this swap again later!

Partners have been assigned. A sincere apology to everyone that you had to wait two days for partners on a swap I labeled 'quick turn around'. It should have been done yesterday, but I was trying to read all the profiles first. (I did read as people signed up too, but there were a bunch more right at the end.)
