Description:
You will MAKE (note: this is not for altering as this was a mix-up in the last handmade envie swap I hosted) 10 envelopes for your partner. There are many fantastic templates out there, and zillions of different media to be used. These MUST be of mailable size. They can be all different sizes, or all the same, as long as they're legal mailing size. Envies can be made from scrapbooking paper, magazine pages, calenders, maps, posters...just about anything under the sun! Please put in your very best effort, but also remember that no one is perfect! It's a wonderful idea to check profiles for favourite colours, patterns, designs, etc and to check for dislikes as well, though this is not a requirement, as this swap is sender's choice. Sign up by March 1st, and send by the 31st of March. This leaves all of us plenty of time for paper pickin'! Image yoinked from the great and wonderful Google Images

haha we DO need a support group! it's literally KNOWN in my house that if i go to hobby lobby, it's for 12x12 paper (which i have a room full of and always "need more"), and EVERYONE knows that i'll be tucked away making envies!!

Ooh, I have a question! Would it be OK to make an envie out of hand painted or hand stamped paper?

I normally make mine out of calendars and old broken spine storybooks as the paper is thicker and I am recycling at the same time.
Does anyone have an objection to using recycled paper products- good products, not trash- to make the envies? the calendars make beautiful envies.... jen

obviously by the number of joiners to this swap,we are the only ones comfortable with admitting to our addictions, lol. I made literally another 100 envies this week so I'm loaded for bear as the saying goes:)
