Swap description: Once Upon a Mini-Zine #2

I previously hosted this as a public swap in 2009, and decided it was time to resurrect it! For this swap you will create a mini-zine based upon a fairy tale (or fairy tales in general). How you interpret the theme is up to you. Some ideas:

• Illustrate an existing fairy tale
• Write your own fairy tale
• Write revised versions of existing fairy tales (from a different perspective etc)
• Review existing adaptations of fairy tales
• Explore how a particular fairy tale has affected you, or your responses to a collection of stories
• Profiles your favourite characters
• Imagine what would happen if you could climb into an existing story
• or something else entirely – be creative!

The above are all just suggestions – your zine can include any, all or none of these, so long as it fits within the fairy tale theme!

Swap requirements:

• 3 partners = 3 copies of your mini-zine sent & 3 different mini-zines received.
• Please make sure your own profile references at least 2 different fairy tales. Although this swap is not profile-based, it still might help inspire your partner/s! (However, please do not rate your partner down for not matching your personal favourites, as it is not a requirement.)
• Your mini-zine should not have been swapped on Swap-Bot previously
• Your mini-zine should be a minimum of 8 pages long, folded from a single sheet of A4/letter-size paper (click here for tutorial). You can work to a larger scale, if you prefer.
• Send on time!

The obvious bit

As well as meeting requirements as outlined on group homepage participants must have no late swaps on their dashboard, no 3 ratings in the last 3 months, and no 1 ratings in the last 12 months. I will check before assigning partners, so please contact me if you are concerned. I will take extenuating circumstances into account, but the happy swapping of the majority is the most important factor.
