Buddy, Buddy...

I've had a few people show interest in a personalized support system for NaNo. People to contact with excerpts, challenge with Word Wars*, keep them going when their main character decides to Mary Sue three-quarters of the way through the month, etc.

As your mod, I'm here to oblige.

You will receive two partners, and you will send them your NaNo name at the very least. Other possibilities are email address, IM info, etc. They, in turn, will send you encouraging notes, participate in excerpt exchanges, etc through the month of November. It doesn't have to be daily, but contact should be made at least once a week.

And it doesn't have to be a long missive. A quick, "Hey you're doing great!", "Here's a challenge for you.." or "What do you think of this plot bunny?" can go a long way.

Please post questions or concerns down below. Final sign up day is Halloween for...er...obvious reasons.

*Word Wars - This is a fun little game (often played via IM or in person) where two or more people type as much and as fast as they can for a certain time limit (often fifteen minutes) and then announce their count at the end.
