This is a private swap between Melissa and Ashley. For this swap we will each obtain the 7 x 10 journal (previously agreed upon) and decorate our own covers embellishing any way we want. Before sending your journal to your partner, you will complete the first 6 pages of your journal as follows below: Page 1: Title page (whatever that means to you) Page 2: Introduction – a little bit about this journal, maybe your hopes and goals for what you want to do with it or what you want to get out of it etc. Page 3: Rules and Guidelines for YOUR journal (we will respect each other wishes) Page 4-5: “About me” section—answers to the questionnaire (I will email it to you) Page 6: write a note/letter to your partner to kick off the swap After completing pages 1-6 we will mail each other our journals. Page 7 of your partner’s journal should be a response from you to the note/letter your partner wrote. Page 8 should be a writing or activity prompt for your partner that they will complete. Then you will mail the journal back. When you receive YOUR journal you will complete the prompt/activity your partner created for you and then do a bit of journaling/art (whatever) and then mail it back to your partner again….. we will repeat the process over and over until both our journals are filled. There will be no set page limit on journal entries (unless stated in the prompt ect). This means that one journal might be completed sooner than the other. There is also no set schedule other than to try and mail out whatever journal is in your possession within in a few days of completing an entry. A journal shouldn’t stay in one place for longer than 2 weeks. |
