Quickie Postcard Rec: supernatural books

Children who see ghosts, teenagers who can move objects with the power of their thoughts, zombies that are never referred to as zombies, witches who plot to overtake the world…who says the world of children’s books is always a sweet and gentle place?

For the upcoming witching month, you are invited to send a postcard to your partner recommending a supernatural or fantastical children’s book you’ve enjoyed. The book can be for any age, from picture book through young adult, and should be a book that has some sort of paranormal element or fantastically bizarre or unusual subject.

The postcard will be sender’s choice and may be store-bought, handmade, or clean thrifted, and does not have to be specifically themed to the swap or season…although that’s nice if you can manage it! Write your recommendation on your postcard and send it stamped and naked, no envelope to your partner.

You will of course receive a fantastic recommendation in your mailbox as well. Happy swapping!
