Sometimes looking back on childhood seems strange and almost magical. Our memories are formative, informing who we are later on, sticking with us for the rest of our lives. Please write about a vivid, profound, and/or magical seeming memory you have from childhood. It can be funny, scary, or sentimental, so long as it is at least somewhat vivid. At least two pages handwritten (or both sides of one page)...but feel free to write more than that. This is NOT a profile swap...in fact, if you want you can send the same memory to each of your 3 partners, but feel FREE to write about different memories to each partner, if the writing bug bites you. (You are welcome to include a personal note portion or separate letter to your partner if you WANT to but it is NOT required to achieve a 5 rating). Newbies welcome. No lower than 4.5 ratings please and no 1s or 3s in the past month. I will angel and send a memory to anyone who is flaked on. Chronic flakers will be banned.

Noticed that the pages have to be handwritten. That's a lot of handwriting. Was going to sign up, but then saw this requirement. With arthritis in my writing hand, it would be a painful 6+ pages.

No one wants my handwriting and I don't impose it on anyone, not even for a rating on swap-bot. I understand pen-pal seekers hoping for hand written letter but, hey, it's the 21st century! Typewriters are 100 years old. And computers, for some of us, are glorified typewriters. I'm sorry I'm dropping out at the last minute but hand writing is a total no go for me.

I will try to do the handwriting to you and the other swapper but if its typed don't fret please as I am having shoulder and wrist problems and can manage to type.

I really loved your letter, ladydy5! The stationary was gorgeous, and your handwriting is wonderful, better than mine! It really made memories feel like a keepsake. :)
