You must have a rating of 4.5 or higher. Newbies are welcome with 5 completed swaps and a flawless 5.0 rating. No 1's in the past 12 months. No 3's the past 4 months, unless you have a good explanation. I will be checking profiles periodically. Participants are urged to rate/comment on a flaker accordingly. No one likes a flaker!!

Please ask any questions before signing up. Thanks!

Please rate according to the Swap-bot criteria below.

What are the rating criteria?

There are only three different rating criteria: I got my stuff and it met posted swap requirements (5 points); I got my stuff, but it didn't meet the posted swap requirements (3 points); I never got anything (1 point). Keep in mind that you are NOT rating your partners on whether or not you liked what you received, only on if it met the requirements of the swap. The fun thing about swaps is that you never know what you are going to get, and that means that sometimes you may not be thrilled with what you receive.

What are hearts and how do I give them?

If someone sends you an extra special swap package that far exceeds the swap requirements, you can give that person a heart, if you'd like.

what is an ATC?

ATC: Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized “swap” events or through the mail, in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5″ x 3.5″. As a general rule, swaps are open to any media, materials or techniques as long as the card fits into a standard trading card sleeve. ATCs are traded, not sold. You may find that individual swaps on Swap Bot have rules as to how the ATC should be created for that particular swap. Each one is different, so make sure you read the swap description carefully before signing up. There are some artists who choose to sell cards. Cards that are sold are called Art Card Editions and Originals (ACEO) and are often found directly on the artist’s site or on EBay. (Info Link: Strathmore Artist Trading Cards.)

I have never made an ATC before, because I'm afraid it will take me eons to complete just 1. But, I love this theme! It may have to be my first ATC.

love it <3 just a question... Wicked it's also admitted on the theme or not?

bruxbaby 09/10/2010 #

@EllyScissorhands - Anything related to the Wizard of Oz is allowed. Let me know if this does not answer your questions. Thanks : )

@RetroJane - Go for it!!

EllyScissorhands 09/10/2010 #

yes, but because Wicked is the story of the friendship between elphaba and glinda, i was not sure that i can use also this, because it's a different musical and a different book :) but if for " the wizard of Oz" you mean everything about the world of Oz i think that's ok, but if you mean only about the musical maybe Wicked isn't allowed!

@EllyScissorhands - This is only for the Wizard of Oz.
