Description:

What's happening in your neighborhood?

The final product of this swap is a collage of images and words from a days worth of news.

[this is an international swap - plan for extra postage, if needed]

Size Requirements: At least the size of a standard postcard. I should think you could make it much bigger. 8.5 x 8.5 can be an appealing size. This is more about quality than quantity.

Newspaper Guidelines: One days worth of newspapers or news-magazines - this can include local weekly/month newspapers in addition to your daily newspaper.

Content: Include images that are relevant to your life/location if possible. Think local (even if it's state-based) - not global.

Put in as many interesting images as possible. It's a collage so there's lots of freedom. Overlap. Cut out people and put them in different situations. Make yourself laugh.

Don't include entire articles - but feel free to cut out small quotes, headlines, or words.

I think a good minimum would be at least 10 different items on your collage - but I would sure hope you could get more than that on there.

Shipping: You may need to use a larger envelope, but if need be, give it a fold. Just make sure it is well, well, well taped up first.

If you feel clever enough, do it on an old cereal box and cover the collage size with packing tape to laminate it. Instant over-sized postcard. I did this recently and it cost (around) $1.08 to ship. It was around 8.5x10 inches big. Just make sure that the collage pieces can't fall off.

Rating Guide: - At least as big as a postcard? - At least 10 items on the collage? - You can tell they spent some decent time on it? - Sent on time? Give them a 5.

Newbies are welcome. Please have at least a 4.0 rating overall
