Description:

It's very rewarding to take some time to do some volunteer work. We all should reach out and touch someone. For this swap, share a time that you've done some volunteer work. It may have been 5 years ago or even 5 days ago. Be detailed about your experience. Share about how it made you feel to reach out. Were you nervous? Did you volunteer alone or with a group of people? What advice would you give to someone who has some free time and desires to volunteer? Share some ideas on how a person could get out of their comfort zone and volunteer.

So, we should write a letter? About how long should we write, in that case? Is everyone welcome regardless of their swapping history?

Write a letter to your swap partner. It can be one or two pages long. Everyone is welcome to join. I just thought that it would be inspiring for us to hear about what other people do to reach out and touch other lives.

I'm in the process of moving right now, but I'd love to join this swap. I won't be moved into my new apt. until Aug. 16th. Is there any chance the deadline could be extended until the end of Aug? If not, I'll pass and wait until the next time this same swap will be offered again.
