Description:

This is a regular ol' Postcard swap with a twist. The theme of the postcard is receiver's choice. Upon joining please list at least 5 themes you would like to receive. Once partners are assigned check below and send a postcard that fits one of your partner's themes.

Because not all themes will be readily available to everyone you have the choice of sending store-bought or handmade. THIS part is up to the sender. Do not join this swap if you do not want to receive a handmade card. Any comments asking for only store-bought or only handmade will be deleted and you will be banned from the swap. The receiver may pick the themes only.

Send naked, not in an envie. No ad cards unless that is one of the themes your partner requests.

Newbies welcome with well filled-out profile. Everyone else must have a 4.9 or higher with no 1's or 3's in the last 3 months. No unexplained 1's ever. PM me with any concerns regarding your ratings.

One more thing - Since you are to give at least 5 themes please make sure you have a variety. For example: Jack Skellington and Nightmare Before Christmas are not different themes. Twilight and 'Team Jacob' are not different themes. See what I'm getting at? Please try to give your partner a good variety to choose from. Thanks!

I would like France/French, Owls, a card showing a door or window, something showing your local cuisine, or something nerdy/geeky.

I love vintage/antique items - but for variety - 1. witchy/mystery/spooky/un-natural 2. Black/white photographs - especially pets 3. Your photos made into cards 4. Hand made cards are great! Especially collage 5. Animals or unusual nature pics I am sure I will like what you send!

My Top 5:

Spooky/creepy/cemeteries/supernatural

Vintage or retro

Celebrities/entertainment

Odd/strange/funny/irreverent

Food (not recipes)

I don't mind ad cards in any of these categories. :O)

So, just to make sure....I can use a photo I've taken and make it into a postcard?

JessiPancake 07/27/2010 #

@preslarb Yes, as long as it fits the theme. Though it would be good to put it on cardstock or something to make it sturdy.

Yellow, Flowers/Nature, weird/odd, animals (not cutesy though!), artwork. To my partner: I'm not a huge fan of ad cards but I don't mind them if it has a cool stamp on it :)

a pc showing your town or a nearby attraction, a map card, big letters, a recipe card, or something vintage.

Hello all! I love these swaps since I'm bossy! My choice, baby! :D My five themes:
* Stars (astronomical or symbol, not celebrities)
* Blue or green
* Anything that says "Greetings from"
* Odd/strange/funny/irreverent
* Spooky/creepy/cemeteries/supernatural (do you see how I'm totally copying @Peacewytch ? lol)

Ad card / handmade is fine, you are not allowed to stress out about my card. Says me!

Hello.. I love non-touristy unless it is of a really popular location!, cartoonish, cutsie, anything with children, cherry blossoms
