Newbie Slam Swap - USA & Canada

is "newbie", newbie to swapbot or newbie to slams? I am new to slams and would love to join

I'M still a little confused on how excatly these are done. Could someone explain to me please?! In highschool they were never themed so I'm just not grasping the concept of swapping them. I've looked it up here and on google and still don't get it. Please help me. I really want to do this.

If you go to the help section they have a little dictionary type thing with swap-bot terminology in it. It really helped me when I first started... Hope it helps you too... :)

vendetti....they don't have to be themed. it can be as simple as a little booklet stapled together. there is a sign in sheet first where people will put their label or sign their name. then on each page there would be a question at the top of the page and numbered slots so they could answer the question. questions can be fave color, fave food, really anything......The last page is the sign out page, again numbered, they will put their name, date and you can ask for their country as well. :)

So we can make them and use notebooks/journals also. Sounds interesting.

I get what a slam is, but I don't understand how you swap them. I thought several people worked on one slam for one person - so how does it work that you are giving several slams to one person? Will the slam be sent back to the original sender, or is it for the receiver to keep and get filled out on their own? Sorry, newbie head spinning. ;)

As far as I can figure, you receive the slams from your Swap-Bot partner.. Then you send them along to anyone else that you know who plays slams. .. or, you wait til there is another slam swap in S-B, to send them along to another person.

so we're making 4 for our partner and 1 for ourselves or someone we know? that would make sense, if we're getting 4 from our partner as well.
