No matter what you do for a job, I think its safe to say no one can resist fun and funky office supplies. My home studio is just as full of cute post-its and weird tape as my actual office is. For this swap you will have 1 partner to send $10.00 worth of new fun and weird office supplies to. Think outside the box here people. Paperweights, weird postage, fun envelopes that may not be useful for their original purpose, desk decorations. Now these items do not have to be used in an actual office, but could be used for making art or decorating your home too. RATE BASED ON recieving your items and that they match the price point. Not everyone has the same tastes, but send something you would enjoy recieving, rate fairly. Please only sign up if you want to send. DOn't flake or I will send my alien minions to abduct you, and we all know where that's heading :) As with all my swaps there is always a Title guessing game so here is your challenge: Name the movie that the title is refering to, and the minimum required pieces of flair (2 answers will be accepted). Bonus points for anyone who can tell me the ultimate desktop accessory :) Leave your answers in the comment section GOOD LUCK!

Office Space! and "If you want me to wear 37 pieces of flair like your pretty boy Aaron over there, why don't you make the minimum requirement 37 pieces of flair?!" Oh and the ultimate desktop accessory is a red Schwinn line stapler... (Don't know if it's spelled right!)

International shipping can bite you on the ass hard ... I know all to well, but lowering the swap value to anything under $10.00 would really ruin the quality of the swap.

I agree... unfortunately stuff in the US costs lots a cheddah, I don't want anyone to get a box of paperclips or generic Statples Sticky's. These items don't have to be crazy but they can be! The point tis to get something a little off the beaten path, fun and pretty or funky. Unfortunatly that leaves us a higher price. Thanks for understanding, I do not mind however if someone wants to steal this idea and post an international or lower price swap in the public or even here once this one is completed.

PS I don't think anyone here would mind something handmade like a feltted stuffie that actually despenses tape... or something like that, good quality handcrafted goods are priceless in my book.

perpetualkid.com has some cool stuff that makes me twitch -- wish the local Office Depot had fun like that...are cool/wacky pens acceptable? I personally am easily please by paper clip shapes & colored rubber bands, lol.

Getting back to the quiz... I believe the minimum amount of flair is fifteen pieces? (But of course, you could wear more than fifteen if you want to express yourself... and we encourage that...) :)

I was given a red Swingline stapler as a gift from my old boss (she's a big fan of the movie). You could repel invaders with it. Now that I'm laid off it sits amidst a bunch of my art tools.

I'm with hollycm6 -- things piled up unexpectedly & I had to reconsider but yes, please run it again when the timing is better. It 's a great idea -- 'and now, back by popular demand....." and is worthy of round 2 :)
