Altered Comp Book

Can you please give size of notebook for those of us not in US ?

so this swap, is it a basic plain coloured hard back notebook that we just decorate the back front etc ourselves, i just want to be straight before i join swap

Your swap should be a standard sized (7 1/2 x 9 3/4 in.) composition notebook - the kind with a hard front and back cover. Enjoy!

I'd like to use my composition book for writing songs. My previous songwriting book is filled up. These songs would be a continuation of my typical material (I refer to it as "literary neo-trad") taking the magical and mysterious in ancient ballads (animal transformations, ghosts, faery abductions and the like). Michelle, I see that you will be sending an altered book to me. I would like anything you care to send. Just a note: my husband and I will be visiting Bermuda, Liverpool, Scotland, and Ireland next summer. Would be nice to keep a journal. But no pressure. I'm very flexible.

PegMac, it looks like you've got me. I read your profile and we have similar interests. I was born in San Francisco and raised in the Bay Area. I left my heart in San Francisco when I moved here to the Pacific Northwest. If there is any way you could remind me of my home town when I look at the comp book I would be eternally grateful.

I'm so glad to see you all sharing ideas for what you would like for your book. I have not peeked to see who is sending to me but I just wanted to let them know that I am going through a bit of a transformational period in my life right now so something along those lines would be great. And also...I am usually a purple person but lately I have been drawn more to blues especially cobalt.

Betsy G! how exciting, sounds like a trip of a lifetime. I just happen to love travel (haven't done a ton but did spend time in England and lots of states in our country. I also do my best creative work with a bit of pressure, and just think if you like the journal it will get to travel with you!
