" This month will be "March"--the 2nd in a 12-month series of friendship block swaps. The requirements for the blocks are only that they be 12.5" x 12.5", made of quality 100% cotton quilt fabrics, unfinished (as in only the block, no batting or backing), and you should consider your partners favorite colors when choosing your fabrics. One block for one partner. This is an ongoing swap, so you can join each month, or just when you are able.There will be 30days between signup deadline and mailing date, so that should be enough time for making one block. As sender: Please sign your block, add a quote or just sign and date it, your choice, As recipient: please make sure your color choices are either posted in the comments below, or clearly visible in your profile. No Flakers! You must have at least a 4.8 rating and no recent no sends,and you must have logged into Swap-bot at least 5 days before the deadline to sign up (Life happens and if you are called away and distracted from the swaps, it sometimes results in late sends or flaking ;( ) Newbies to Swap-bot are welcome if they are experienced quilters, write me with any questions, and Happy Swapping!

Have you ever heard of turning the caps lock off and typing like regular people? Everything you do is in caps...groups...swaps...profile. It's quite distracting when trying to read what you say.

Also, having the "you must sign up each month" will stop people from wanting to join the swap. You can't force someone to sign up.

You might also think about having some kind of rating restrictions. Seasoned swappers like myself would feel more comfortable joining your swaps that way.

crochetjunkie--some people need all caps for impaired vision reasons...I don't know pathhacker, but it would be nice to ask first.

I do like a little more rating restrictions in a swap--or some sort of requirements to avoid flakers--and as for the "you must sign upeach month" that is a bit hard to enforce, and most people will simply ignore it,soit might as well not be in the description, I agree!.

thanks twobluecrows for helping me out. and yes you are right it would be nice to ask the reasoning behind the caps. and yes i do have some vision problems, but i don't let it make my whole attitude toward someone bad just because i am having a bad day. sorry if my profile...groups...swaps and everything irratate anyone person.....and i am fairly new to all this, but i do try my best

You're doing a good job! These are really nice swaps and I'm happy to have them! It takes a very strong person to accept critique and act on it the way you id, I'm proud of you, so you should be, too!! Throw off the negatives and just have fun!

I agree its fine! I dont like email police...life is too short to worry about such trivial things! I wish you the best in this swap! I will see if I have time to join but cannot guarantee to be in all.

I like this swap, and don't care if you post in all caps or not. If I'm interested, I'll read. That said, I love greens and purple/lavender in combo.
