I've been to a several anti-war protests in the past few years, and have always noticed not only the poignant messages on many of the signs but also the creativity behind them. I am not sure if there will be many people interested in this swap, but I'm going to go ahead and make it anyways. (Just because even if there is only one person I would still love to swap these cards.) Standard ATC format. Any media that you would like. The cards need to be anti-war in some form or another. It doesn't need to be geared toward any one war or any particular administration. As far as I'm concerned anything goes. Let's exercise our right to free speech! You will send 1 card to each of your partners. You will be making 2 cards total. Swappers must have a rating of 4.5 or above. You should not have any recent no sends. International swappers welcome.

i have made some of these for an altered playing card event . . . . glad to see others are interested in the topic, as well!!! i am glad to be able to make more!!!

When we first invaded Iraq I knew what we were doing was wrong. I was teaching 4th grade at the time, and I was teaching a poetry unit. One of the poems was a collage poem, cut from words in a magazine. (kind of a giant ATC) I worked on my poem along side the kids who were having the most trouble. When one boy saw mine, he said, "you mean we can write about things we really feel?" One of those teachable moments!

Wow, I just found this swap. This one will sure be from the heart! I've been anti war since the Korean War and still am. I said all the very things that are happening now would happen, if only more people had listened to me.
