Button Bracelet

I love the idea of collecting beautiful buttons and I also love fashion accessories. What better idea than marry the two? The bracelet can be made in a number of ways. I have seen them made by stringing buttons together with elastic string, wax cord, sewn onto a woven band or by the method shown in the youtube tutorial here. In addition to buttons some people add beads or other small findings to fill in the spaces between the buttons. I have even seen them made using a hair scrunchie as a base. I tried that out and it works!! There are many awesome pics on Flickr, like the one that I posted. She does amazing work!
