someone asked me what I consider good ribbon...here is my response: Hi, "good" ribbon would be any that you buy at a craft store or fabric store. Nothing plastic. Like that curling ribbon that you see on presents like in a gift wrap section. Typically it comes on rolls with 3-5 yards on it, but I've bought ribbon with 25 yards on it (more expensive of course) that is the "good" stuff. If you can get 6-10 yards for 50c then that also is not the ribbon to swap here. I think that is called satin ribbon. It's usually about 3/8" or 1/8 inch wide and comes in lot's of colors. I have plenty of that and won't be exchanging any of it in my swap. Good ribbon is kinda fabricky. You can go to JoAnns if you don't have much on hand and buy exactly what you need. You could pick out 10 different ribbons from their -by the yard- selection and get 10-1 yard pieces, then at home cut each into 1/3's...keep one of each for you and trade the other. Hope that helps!
