Description:

This swap is designed for kids 9-12 who LOVE to receive mail. My daughter always says "I wish there were swaps for kids." Voila! Now I'm hosting my first swap. ;o)

This is how it should work: You will send one filled envelope to one partner. The envelope should be the catalog envelope that is at least 6-in x 9-in. You can find them at most stores in the mailing section. I purchased 6 for $2.14 so they are very affordable. Put at least 4 items (or more if you choose) but at least 4 (different) items. Now what to put inside! Here are some ideas...

stickers, scrapbook papers (for ATCs and other projects), valentine ATC (made by your child), greeting cards (no more than 2 = 1 item), bookmark (homemade or store bought), valentine (homemade or store bought), stationary, small book (remember envelope size), your child's favorite recipe to share, small cross stitch project (prepackaged), original story/poem (1 page & hand written), original drawing, 4" fabric squares (for quilting, 10 squares = 1 item), hair pretties (barrettes, ties, etc.), seasonal/fancy design pencil(s) (unsharpened & 2 = 1 item), and baseball cards

As you can see, I've tried to keep this inexpensive and fun. I also tried to include items that girls and boys could do. If you have any other suggestions, please post them below. It would be a good idea to get the envelope first so you know what you are stuffing size-wise. Also, I've decided against food items in the envelopes so don't send anything you can eat/drink. Lastly, I am leaving the package contents up to the sender. All the sender needs to know is if it's for a boy or girl. On your profile page somewhere, post this swap title and just "girl or boy" for your partner to know. =)

Now for the boring part: rules. Must have at least a 4.5 rating with very few no sends, if any. If you want to participate and you don't meet the ratings requirement, message me and we can discuss it. Newbies are welcome with filled out profiles only. I will be checking out those I think are questionable and reserve the right to ban them. Since it is kids swapping, please sign up ONLY if you are serious and will follow through. No hurt feelings allowed in this swap just FUN! And on the real serious side, I think its best we don't post our kids name for their protection but I will leave that decision up to you the parent. I will try to angel this swap as much as I can.

I decided two weeks is more than enough time to get your package filled and on its way to its partner. Please send a package that you would like to receive.

That's it! If you have any questions, message me or post below. Thanks and happy swapping!
