Description:

If you are looking for a Theme a Day journal international, here it is! If you think you may not finish, or have flaked on any swap, don't join! I will allow newbies with at least 4 completed swaps, with no 1's or 3's. I'll check profiles before establishing partners!! For this swap, you will create a journal. This may be hand made or store bought, hand written or done on a computer, though hand written is more interesting! You will have 2 months to complete it as some of you may not be able to do your entry on a daily basis. Aside from #1, you may do these in any order you wish. Have some fun with it! Let your imagination go!

  1. Introduce yourself. Tell your partner about who you are, where you are from, etc.
  2. What are your goals for 2010? What goals have you set in past years that you achieved, or just gave up on?
  3. What was your most embarrssing moment?
  4. Make this page with an ariticle from your home town newspaper. This should give your partner a glimpse into life where you live.
  5. Tell about your first love!
  6. Add some pictures, postcards, of your home town, and tell what makes it special to you.
  7. What are your pet peeves?
  8. Free day! Write about whatever you would like to.
  9. What is a favorite song? Write down the lyrics, and what it speaks to you.
  10. Write about a life altering or changing moment.
  11. Write about your pets, growing up or present. Add a picture.
  12. Tell about your family. Do you have a favorite relative? Children? What member gets your goat!?
  13. What are your favorite foods? Write a recipe for an ethnic dish if you have one, or an unusual recipe that someone wouldn't have.
  14. Write about a special person in your life who has made a difference to you.
  15. Another free day!
  16. What do you do for fun? What entertainment do you enjoy?
  17. What is your favorite moment of the day and what makes it so special?
  18. What is your favorite spot in your home and why? Add a picture if possible.
  19. Have someone else write about you today.
  20. What are your favorite things/belongings?
  21. What were some things that made you happy, made you laugh, today?
  22. What things are on your bucket list?
  23. Do you watch t.v., and what are your favorite shows, past or present?
  24. Paste in some comics from your newspaper.
  25. If you had something to do all over again, what would it be?
  26. Draw and color a picture. Subject is your choice.
  27. Write about your favorite holidays, and what makes them special. Tell about some traditions that your family has.
  28. Craft this page in whatever way you would like. Scrapbook it, graffitti, collage, wherever your imagination takes you.
  29. Write a special letter to your partner.
  30. Print this page in crayon.
  31. This page must be last. Tell what made this a fun experience for you. Add a closing picture of yourself.

Feb to March is not 2 months, that is only 1 month...

What size does the journal have to be?

I dont know what a bucket list is??

papercaper 01/25/2010 #

A bucket list is a list of all the things you want to do before you die. All those things people say but don't necessarily end up doing, like (for me) jumping out of a plane with a parachute on my back. That I know how to open. :D

Thank you for hosting this international swap, mimi2254. I was so glad it wasn't just me wanting to do this. Maybe you should mention it again on the US-only one so all those International people know it exists.

ifluctuate: I'll correct that! Thanks for the heads up!

"Write a special letter to your partner."

What partner? The one I love or the one that is my swap-partner?

Sorry, just the usual confused me ;o) Gusti

Mimi2254 01/28/2010 #

hi Gusti, it would be your swap partner.
