GLBTQ- Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, & Queer (though I've also always wondered why the Q is there too). Good swap though :) going on my watchlist for now.

Yes!! I am sorry ! I just got on here because I realized that!!! I feel like an idiot! I was actually laying in bed about to fall asleep when it hit me what the Q actually must stand for! But you know what is weird- I have seen this in clubs listed as "queer", and always wondered why (firstly, because that seems to have a negative connotation, and secondly, because even if it wasn't, it would be redundant.)

Well yes and no lol. I have heared LGBTQQI for Queer Questioning and Intersexed. And a lot of us dont find queer negative. Queer is what I identify as not lesbian or bi because a lot of people's definition of lesbian is to small and rigid and something I dont feel comfortable with. Just my 2 cents. I cant join but maybe Gay is Ok #3

Sometimes they stick an A in there too, either for "Asexual" or "Ally", depending on the group.

I'm asexual, but I also identify as queer, so I'm glad to see it included.

you do know the definition of asexual means able to make a child by ur self???? so no human is asexual...

asexual can also mean "devoid of sexuality"

Asexual reproduction is the ability to produce a child by one's self. Being asexual means not having a sex drive or desiring sex. We're a small population, but we do indeed exist, I promise.

Q I have been advised is for QUEER some people prefer queer and there are militant Dykes and Fairies as well-at some point we must come together and just be what we are-I totally don't understand the folks who are "decline to state" gender but I support their right to be that---meanwhile everyone needs to get behind people as people regarless of age, size etc etc and just love others for how great people CAN be---hope lots of you will join this swap and get those ideas and feelings moving around the world ;-)

If I can get up to 10 mail swaps in by the sign up deadline (doubtful) then I want to join. If not I will be looking for similar swaps. I told my dad, who I had been on the out with and the rest of the family still is, I was Bi yesterday and it was such a liberating feeling. I think he is the last of my immediate family to find out. This swap would be the perfect topper to that experience

Like enakitty, I'm not really an ATC artist, but I love the theme of this swap & am glad to see more of these on swap-bot!
