Description:

Halloween will be here soon! What better way to celebrate our love of the holiday than a creepy cute Kawaii swap!

For this exchange, each swapper will send a package of creepily cute Kawaii goodness to one partner. Packages should have a value of at least $10, before postage. The items don't have to be directly Halloween related....they just need to be creepily cute.

Items can be handmade. All must be Kawaii. Halloween candy can be included as an extra, but doesn't count towards the spending minimum. There are all sorts of options for handmade items......Make a Halloween theme kawaii matchbox, or whimsey jar.......sew a little fabric or felt monster.....Alter Kawaii items you have on hand to fit the theme....make some Halloween theme postcards. There are also lots of Halloween related sticker sacks and other creepy Kawaii goodies coming out in online stores now. Skulls. Cute monsters. Kawaii characters in costumes. It's all good! Be creative and have fun!!

There's a lot of time before the mailing deadline for this swap to give time for ordering items and making handmade stuff. :o)

Just want to be sure....is this kawaii period....or any specific genra/country/etc? (many swaps say only Asian kawaii...)

The Halloween/creepy cute stuff is a bit harder to find and the swap does allow for handmade items like amigurumi....so I'd say as long as it fits the theme of the group (Harajuku girls --- bright colors, cute, kitschy) that non-Japanese kawaii items would be ok. No Disney or Diddl though.
