Description:

I am very interested in other countries. The only other country I've ever been to is Mexico because I have family there, but I loved it.

This swap will require you to send a package to your partners that includes souvenirs from where you live, or a place you are viditing or have visited and still have unwanted souvenirs from.

The monetary value isn't important as long as you send a package you would like to receive. You can send one big thing, or a few little things.

The items would be things like maps, post cards, keychains, little figurines, local candy, pictures you've taken etc.

Each person will get 3 partners since it isn't an expensive swap.

The point is to get people from all over so it's open to every country.

When you send your package, include a little note explaining the significance of each thing if you can.

I hope many people sign up from many different places because that's what will make it fun.

I dont know where you live but souvenirs in this neck of the woods are not inexpensive little trinkets, so giving each person 5 items each could get costly. Jusy fyi.

So you need to gather 15 different items? Or would it be OK to double up on perhaps one thing like a type of local candy in each package? A really fun idea, one thing we get a lot of here is souvenirs! Tartan anyone???:0)

I live in Chicago and keychains are $1, so are snowglobes and other things like that. Postcards are usually 4 for a dollar. Souvenirs don't run more than $5 a piece usually.

Yeah it's ok to double up. Actually, I will change the limit. Basically each package should be what you would like to get. Maybe only one big thing, or a few little things.

Thank you cookiebear in Canada for the cool (literally!) view of Quebec (a UNESCO World Heritage site.... I collect those) and Karen in Singapore for the gorgeous view of the city at night and the great travel quote on the back.

This post is for this swap and it is a huge thank you to Libbybear (Ellen in Devon, UK). I love my package! So much thought and detail put into it, but I'll gush more when it comes to ratings :) Thank you!

Thank you Marcia in Idaho! Love the potato theme, especially since we don't ever eat the real ones anymore 'cause of carbs.
