Description:

Make and send to your partner 2 notecards with an owl theme - they may be the same or different.

In one card, write a note to your partner about owls (anything you like).

The other card will be left blank/clean for your partner to use, so make sure to include an appropriate sized envelope as well.

Please make your cards at least about 4" x 5" (10 cm x 12.5 cm) - this is about the size you would get if you folded an 8.5 x 11" (or A4 size) sheet of paper in half twice. If they are too much smaller than that, not all postal services will accept them for mailing. You may, of course, also go a bit larger if you like.

Some techniques and materials to consider if you are new to cardmaking and trying it for the first time:

  • handrawing
  • collage
  • stamping

Please note that, if you use something like a photograph or clipart, you must further embellish the card to "make it your own".

Since this is a beginners swap, please be kind with your comments when rating - we all have to start somewhere!.

Have fun!

dumb question time here :-0, what size in inches are you wanting the notecards? I know that the measurements can vary e.g. 3x3 or 4x4......I just want to check before I sign up....

NOTE: Edited to add card dimensions. (Thx AngelGurl!)
