Description:

I'm new to Captured Faerie jars and want to learn more about them. For that reason, I decided to have a swap!

You don't have to have done this technique before to join. (This is going to be my third jar.) This is for experienced swappers, not newbies to the site.

Make one captured faerie jar for your swap partner. Use any size glass jar, and embellish it the way you want. Be sure to send something you would like to receive yourself. There are many images of these jars online. If you have any questions, send me an e-mail.

Please wrap your jar carefully prior to sending. (Consider using bubble wrap.) We want these little lovelies to arrive in their new homes safely.

No recent or unexplained no-sends. Please rate promptly.

I hope that I'm not considered a newbie and be rejected from this swap, but I have made several faerie jare for friends for their birthday and really enjoy making this.....and Oh what fun they are.....

Private Dean,

I like this idea. She is captured, but she can get away, if she wants to. Do you think it is small enough for a tree ornament?

I got some really darling fairy transparancies today, and have the fairy portion of the jar ready. Our local flea market has the Ball jars (made in Indiana) for .50 each. I will buy several and get to making them.

I need to find some tulle or lacy material for the top, since the jars have no lids. I want them to be able to breathe. :-)

Ryoan Zobuk's (ryerye) son has been injured in a military accident. He is 18 years old and in the army. She has joined this swap and it will be angeled. Please note it might take some time for that to be coordinated for her. Be kind when you rate. Pray for RyeRye, her son, and their family. Thanks.

awwww, Maemae made me cry. What a sweetheart you are! I am taking this on baby! I've been looking forward to it since the group was made. I contacted my partner, (redrooster) and asked for patience, but I'm all over it.

Oh rye rye..... I got your message and please take care of your son, and work on the fairy jar when things are settled down for you... as you can see by my profile I retired from the Navy after 20 years, and so I can understand things like this happen and my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your son...there's no need to angel this swap I have patience and would just like you rye rye to take care of your son first....
