Description: | |
Many of us are collecting postcards of state maps, state capitol buildings, state flowers, etc. I know that whenever I visit a different state and find these cards, I grab a handful to swap, and I know many other people do too. But I'm not always sure which states people already have or which they still need. I'm hoping by have lots of options, we'll be able to help fill in some holes in each other's collections. So for this swap you must list in the comment section which cards you HAVE (in your collection, not to swap) or NEED (for your collection)...whichever is shorter. For example you might say: State Flowers: I HAVE--California, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, New York. State Capitols: I HAVE--Colorado, Iowa, Wyoming State Maps: I NEED--Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota It makes it easier if you list the states in alphabetical order. You should carefully read the comments and try to send your partner something that she needs. However, I can imagine that if some people are very close to completing their collections, it might be difficult. If you do not have any of the cards that your partner needs, then you should send a general state card (something with the name of the state on the front of it). You should not rate down if your partner needs to send a general state card. I'll look at profiles and ban anyone who I think won't be a good swap partner. If you don't get your card, please message your partner before leaving a bad rating. Also, let me know because I will angel this swap--but I'll nag anyone who flakes first. Postcards should be written on and stamped unless your partner requests otherwise. If your partner doesn't give information about what she needs, then you can send her any state card you want. Note that you just send one postcard to each partner. |
