International, 1 partner, flat mail/ cost of one stamp to send.

The "Chapters & Chatter" group is hosting a series of swaps for the 52 Book Club reading challenge. They're doing it in a monthly swap, but I thought maybe we could try it out in a seasonal swap for updates. Nothing needed to buy - you can download the list of prompts, and Good Reads has a bunch of lists of suggestions for the prompts. You can join all of the swaps or just the ones that work out for you. Can't commit to a full year? That's fine. :) I'm going to set up the sign up date for the end of the season w/ a send by date 2 weeks later - so you have all the time to read the books, and if it's not working for you, you can drop out with no worries! I want to keep this low- stress!

Apparently this has been around for a while, but I think this is the first I'm hearing of it. If you want to get more involved, do check out the Chapters and Chatter group, or you can join the social media groups that are organized too. If you go to : https://www.the52book.club or this clicky link, if it will work. You can find a downloadable/ printable list of prompts on the site - scroll down to almost the end. There's a list of the prompts and then downloadables you can choose from. You will see an offer for the official book journal - you do not need to buy that! :) This is the Good Reads link of prompts

So what's the swap? Every 3 months, we will send our partner a notecard, letter or even a post card (if there's enough room, it might need to be an oversized card. Store bought or nicely hand made) and list at least 3 prompts we have attempted or completed and list the book titles and authors for those books. If you start something and you're not enjoying it, you don't have to finish it! Maybe write a line about what you didn't like. IF you do read more books from the prompts and wish to share, you are more than welcome to do so! And I'm ok with "double dipping" (a book that fits more than one prompt). Like I said, this is going to be low stress!! Audiobooks are defiantly acceptable for this swap as well as print or ebook. Children's, YA and re-reads are good too!

So, how does all this sound? Make sense? Please let me know if you have any questions! And! If you would like an email version of this swap, PLEASE let me know and I can set it up, or you can set it up if you wish.

You are more than welcome to read the full 52 book list. But for this swap, for the full year, you would only be asked to read or attempt 12 books.

As always Questions? Comments? Concerns? Please send me a PM and I'll respond as soon as I can. SB doesn't alert us to the comments left below, so I won't see the comments left there. I always forget. :(

You must belong to the Reading & Writing Group in order to join this swap.
