Description:

Okay this is a swap for others like me who are new to ATC's....I have tinkered with a few and they aren't awesome but I think they are pretty good for a first timer. So I figured I would start a swap for those of you who are like me and in the same boat.

This one's theme is.....SENDERS CHOICE....Use your imagination and come up with the best ATC you can. You will have 1 partner for this swap.

This swap welcomes people who are familiar with ATC's and make them, but please understand that this is for BEGINNERS and you may not get one the same quality you send out:) It's a learning process:)

Newbies welcome with filled out profile......Being that ATC's are fairly cheap to send, I am opening this up to international swappers as well:)

I'm a newbie, and my question is how do you make ATC? Do you have any rule in this swap for ATC? Thanx

YankeeUnicorn 05/13/2009 #

@hinting The only rule to this ATC swap is that the ATC be the correct size (2.5x3.5) The rest is up to you, what you use as decoration is up to you.....This is a senders choice themed ATC so the world is your oyster:)

I have also never done an ATC before...but I am very interested in learning how to do them. Is there a website or something that can teach you how to do them? That would be great.

free2flutterby, i start with a piece of card board i've recycled from a cereal box, rice box, macaroni box, etc. cut to the 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 size. then i cover it with nice paper, fabric, tissue paper, etc. that's the background i start with. then i embelish it with a photo, clip art, there's lot's of free clip art online, or stick ons that you can buy...i even cut pics from mags...use ribbon, fibers, string, beads, feathers, etc. the sky's the limit on an atc i think anyway. i love recycling to come up with things to use for atc's and it saves money also! you can find lot's written online bout them, or look at people's flicker photos of atc's they've made. just remember copywrite laws, using other people's art work for pics etc. have fun most of all. i'll be joining in as soon as i clear some swaps outs so i can sign up.
