Description:

Create a predominantly monochrome YELLOW (any shade or shades of yellow), yellow AND gray, or a predominantly GRAY/GREY mail art piece.

Your mail art can be hand-drawn, hand-painted, stamped, collaged, stenciled, embossed, etc. or any combination. A postcard, or at least two ATCs or at least 2 tags, etc. You can start now, but not a bad idea to check your partner's profile if you are using insects or clowns! Recycling is grand. Enjoy creating and rate kindly.

ONE mail art to ONE partner

Mail naked or in an envie. Don't cover your work with clear tape. Be sure to include the word "swap-bot", your swap-bot name, and name of swap on the postcard.

Why those two colors? Pantone "color of the year" for 2021 was “Illuminating” AND “Ultimate Gray” https://www.pantone.com/color-of-the-year/color-of-the-year-2021. “Illuminating” is vibrant yet slightly pale yellow.

Newbie with no ratings? Message me and I will set up a private handmade postcard swap. Have something in your profile. Mine is too long and not the best example!

Sending a postcard from USA? To the USA, to only pay $0.56 (or one forever postcard stamp), follow USPS Postcard rules:

  • 3-1/2 inches high x 5 inches long x 0.007 inch thick, AND
  • no more than 4-1/4 inches high x 6 inches long x 0.016 inches thick.

If it's bigger or thicker, or in clear plastic, you pay more. Mailing a postcard internationally from the USA costs the same as mailing a letter internationally.
