I found this technique on Facebook from a Stampin' Up demonstrator that I know and really loved it. It is great for using up scraps. For this swap you will use this fault line technique and make something for your partner. It is sender's choice on what to make, ie. card (envelope not required, but don't write in it as it is for your partner to use), tag, MemoryDex, journal card, ATC, etc., embellishments used, colors and theme, but please be considerate and send something your partner would enjoy. If you would like directions or close-up pictures, you can CLICK HERE for the blog or if you have Facebook you can see a video tutorial CLICK HERE. I made several cards using this technique and they were super easy and fun. I did mine different than her tutorial as I just used a card base and then placed the background piece on the base and then used two coordinating colors 4-1/4" x about 4" and ripped them both at the same time and then placed them on the card as she did. If you have any questions, message me on swap-bot rather than commenting below as I will see that sooner. NOTE: The above picture is from the blog. |
