Description:

Are you absolutely obsessed with wax seals and you can't find enough ways to use them? And would you like to find a penpal who loves them just as much as you do? Then this swap is for you.

In this swap you have to:

  1. Write a letter to your swap partner telling them about yourself, your interest in wax sealing, and the techniques you like most, or even your favourite wax seal tool. You can mention other interests other than wax seals as well of course! Make it a 2 page letter (A5 sheet minimum) so you can give your swap partner a chance to get to know you.

  2. Make a minimum of eight wax seals. You can make more than eight wax seals if you'd like, but this is the minimum amount of seals to send.

  3. Make a pocket or envelope for your wax seals. You can use it to hold your wax seals loose or stuck on a card like a sticker sheet. Any way you choose is fine as long as its packaging is handmade by you.

  4. Add two flat goodies. Sticker sheets, cutouts or book pages, tea, etc make for excellent flat goodies. Just, please try not to send something you wouldn’t like to receive.

  5. Send your letter and wax seal in a handmade envelope. Seal it with a wax seal as well if you'd like!

Who can join? This swap is open to established swappers rated 4.98 and above as well as newbies with well filled out profiles who have been active on Swapbot at least 2 days before this swap begins. I will be checking profiles.

If you receive your swap consisting of the items above (2 page letter, minimum of 8 wax seals in a handmade envelope/pocket, 2 flat goodies, packaged in a handmade envelope), please rate your partner a 5.

If you haven’t received your swap after some time, please contact your swap partner for a resend. However, if you encounter any issues after attempting to contact your swap partner I will be happy to assist or angel.

This is my first time hosting a swap so please message me or leave a comment below if you have any questions! I'm happy to take any chance to learn and improve at hosting swaps on Swapbot.
