Let's make some inbox cards...bird themed, of course! An inbox card is a 3-inch square of lightweight cardboard, just like an ATC base, with rounded corners...exactly the size and shape of a Ranger ink pad base. They're created in just the same way you'd create an ATC, with layered papers, different techniques (rubber stamping, alcohol inks, paint splatters, and so forth), ribbons and laces and trims and various types of embellishments, etc. The beauty of inbox cards is that they can be joined together to form booklets: see Margarete Miller's video HERE if you wish. I like to arrange my booklets by theme, and some of them are very chunky! Let's start this series with an Albatross. I have never personally seen an Albatross, nor have I ever created Albatross art. Now is my time! So one inkbox card featuring an albatross...represented to the best of our abilities. |
