Hi! I'm so excited about this swap...thanks for hosting. I'd love the one-tier sakura box that's been floating around Ebay for awhile with the big sets, but am happy to swap for anything new and fun!

I have to make a little request and explanation: I live in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest USA and I have to order all my bento boxes through the Internet, and I did order a really cool bento box from J-List that should be unusual enough so you don't already have it but not so far out that most people wouldn't like it! In other words, I'm really sorry but in order for you to receive a bento box in a reasonable amount of time, I had to order something as soon as the swap was announced. I think you will be pleased but it may not have some specific character on it that you might be looking for. I did my best! I ordered some cool extras! Just give me a chance! :) Thanks!

Its ok Prairie, I do the same thing since I have to order from the internet too. I do try to get something every one would like, or at least most people. I'm sure what you picked will make someone happy!

I also am in the middle of nowhere but in Illinois. Other than ebay and J-box, where do you all find your bento goods? It seems like there should be lots of places out there but there doesn't appear to be.

What do you all find important when you are looking for bentos? For me, it's microwavable and on the larger size. I pack for both myself and my super high metabolism dh.

Some times you find them at your local Asian grocery. Depends on the store though. Target has bento boxes, but mostly for children, its worth taking a look though. Another place to try is Amazon.jp, but you have to find the Kana for Bento box to do a search. I haven't tried to buy from them, but I know some people in the US have before.

I will do my best to find a character you will like if I am your swap partner. As for me, I'm not really into Hello Kitty (sorry) but I do like cats, or any kind of animal really, and nature-type designs.

This is my first bento swap ^_^ I'm very very very excited. I have Sanrio stuff and I'm mostly looking for bento accessories. Anything kawaii is much appreciated. Also, if you want furikake seasonings let me know which you prefer because I can easily add them to the box.

opps just joined today, left it a bit late! Is there anyone here from Australia or New Zealand? I live in Japan and would be happy to send the bento box of their choice for a jar of marmite in return (not sure if it can work that way?)

ReiRei: If you want to work something out privately with a swapper here from Australia, there is nothing to stop you. However, the goal of this swap is to send and receive a bento box and a recipe. Anything else included is up to you or your partner. Also, partners are assigned randomly so the person you send to is mostly likely not going to be the person sending to you. Hope this helps!

AJ: This swap is just for 1 bento box and a recipe. If you need accessories maybe we'll have a bento accessory swap later this year. That would be fun!
