Description:

This is my first time hosting a swap - so I'm keeping it pretty simple! For this swap you will have one partner, who you will send a postcard (any size, big or small).

The postcard must be handmade (by you!) - the image on the postcard must be made by using patterned papers pieced together to form the image. I have taken some photos of how I made the postcard pictured in this swap - they can be seen here

There are lots of different ways to do this, here are a few links for inspiration HERE and HERE and HERE

All are welcome, including newbies (must have a filled-out profile!) A rating of 4.8 or higher and no recent no-sends is also required. EDIT no particular theme for the postcard - try to match it to your partners likes!

EDIT AGAIN Please post the postcard "naked" (not in an envelope) - I've sent a few postcards like this and they make it through the post in good shape :o)

Love the idea! I'll put it in "watch" until closer to the date. (swap limits you know)

Will this postcard be sent as a postcard, that is written with address and stamp directly on the card, no envelope?

I'm watching this, too.

Do you enamel the cards or ModPodge them before sending? I am afraid that the bits and pieces might come off. If someone could let me know, I would appreciate it. Thanks--russ

Hi Russ - sorry for not responding sooner - you can coat the postcard if you like, I've sent a few like this and they've made it without needing anything to protect them - but if you want to tha's ok!
