Description:

I am super excited tp host this swap!

I have been sending my crafty friends repurposed Valentine's day chocolate boxes full of crafty handmade fun for years now and thought, wait a minute, I want to receive one of these, so I am selfishly setting up this swap just for that! (Hee-hee!)

For this swap, you will pick up a wee Valentine's chocolate box to glam up and fill for your partner. Enjoy those chocolates or share with a friend and then fill up that box with Valentine's day goodies based on your partner's profile and decorate the top! If yer partner is super crafty, add washi tape, stickers, and beads plus a little sweet treat or tea. Or maybe you are inspired by their fondness for butterflies or bees, your imagination is the limit but your box should have no less than FOUR substantial goodies.

The boxes I like to use are about 5-6" across, I think. The boxes you find at the dollar store are almost too small, depending on what you are sending but you can use them if that is all you can find. I do not want you to spend too much on the box, and if you can make one, go for it! it needs to be heart shaped! You can decorate your box lid with fabric or paper, it's up to you! The box in the tiny photo up there was decorated with a patchwork of stitched paper (I also made the heart top larger than the original for emphasis.) while the box in my link is just paper with a ribbon and button band. I've covered the tops with buttons and costume jewelry, mini toys and charms, a piece of vintage quilt, and so many other bits of fun, really there are options!

Don't forget to add a valentine. handmade, vintage, or borrowed from your kiddo's stash with a little note sharing your favorite thing about Valentine's Day (Galentine's too!) the name of the swap, and your username, and as always, don't forget to leave feedback for your gift!

If you have any questions, message me and always, always have so much fun! Thank you for playing along!
