Has anyone felt the effects of the Federal increase in tax on ciggies? I have definitely switched to the cheaper brands, and tried to cut down.

I have always had to smoke the cheaper brand. Now I have to watch how many I smoke. One ciggerette every 30 minutes. I used to just light up and work while my ciggarette burned out. Now I can not waste any. What would you guys think about a smokers group here on swapbot and have our own swaps without fear of that dreaded "smoke smell"? Let me know. I have a newbie swap group and a make a wish group. I could set one up for all of us.

hi all, I just thought I could share a secret with you about cheap smoking cigs. Well I used to smoke the cheap brands until I found a cheaper way to smoke. I buy my tobacco & filters online and use a rolling machine. Now the filters are pre-rolled so it's really easy to do. You just put the rolled filter tube on the machine, put in the tobacco, and slide the bar and voila, a cig. And it's cheap. I am paying about 18 per carton of cigs. not bad, huh. they have bulk prices, menthol, lights you name it. you pay a one time fee for the machine of your choice and then you just buy your tobacco and filters as needed. if you want to know the place I recommend, cause there are many out there and I found this to be the best, let me know. I'll share my secret. :) I am so excited, smokers just like me.
